This afternoon, we were able to go to the field. I will post more pictures later. But I also wanted to let you know that two of my teammates are also blogging about Uganda. You can check out their perspective here and here.

Beth: Your mom read your early post to me this morning. When she was done tears were flowing down my cheeks. I too have many insecurities and doubts about my looks and abilities. I am always so impressed with your love and service to God. In His eyes you are beautiful and so very capable. You are indeed there for a purpose and I know that you will heed to His quiet callings to you. You will touch many lives with your testimony and His spirit that you carry. Enjoy this experience and know that I am praying for you and that you are in my thoughts always. I love you and think you are wonderful! Aunt Marie

Beth,
I am so glad that you are able to be out there - sharing your love of God with other people throughout the world. I am also so proud that you are my cousin...and being a blood relative totally gives me bragging rights on you!
I have to say, if I was in Uganda, I wouldn't want anyone else with me other than you. Despite the fact that you ARE pretty and cool - you have a magnetic personality, an awesome sense of humor, and an unbelievable sense of direction!!! Uganda?!? Not without Beth. You are an incredible, strong, and successful woman...and you would probably be dragging me through the streets, while I hang onto your backpack strap, sucking my thumb, and crying for home! You'd have to slap me with your map and tell me to get ahold of myself.
I AM so proud of you and admire you and what you are able to do. I can't wait to hear about all your adventures. I love you! Havely

Yay Beth! I'm so excited for you, but I am more excited for the breath of God about to encounter the city! Just reading the passion blog over the past few weeks as they have touched down in cities has been awe inspiring! Our friends leave for Kenya thursday. Say hey to Amanda for me (give her a good squeeze for me too!)
